What Did You Think?

As the A-Z Challenge winds down, I want to thank all who visited my blog and left comments.  Your reactions and encouragement were so very much appreciated!  It was through your comments that I found your blogs, and have been enjoying reading yours, too.  I’ve bookmarked and/or am following many of them and intend to check in even after the Challenge ends.

I’m in the midst of deciding what I’ll do with my blog after the Challenge ends.  Given that I’m a newbie to this and didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t select a particular theme to my posts, although there were some common threads that ran throughout.  I’m wondering whether to keep the topics varied, or to give my blog more focus.

Towards that end, I’d welcome your feedback.  What posts did you enjoy the most?  The least?  What did you like / not like about the blog?  Once I’ve reached my decision about what to do, I’ll leave a post to let you know.

Thanks again for visiting.  8-)

  1. i have enjoyed your posts very much--i tend to have mine varied--although i have been already thinking of what i might have as a theme--so in other words, i don't know what i will do--but please keep doing what you are doing--i will still be dropping by!

  2. I've enjoyed what you have written through the challenge, which is when I started following your blog. I like reading about people, where they live, things like that. I tend to shy away from blogs that post a lot on house decorating, things like that, its not my interest. I know once the challenge is over, I'll go back to my usual blog posting which is rarely more than once or twice a week, but I read daily all I can :)

  3. One thing to consider in the days ahead, you might want to remove word verification from your comments; I know a lot of bloggers don't like to deal with it and some won't even read/comment on blogs with word verification. It doesn't bother me either way though.

  4. For my blog I just write whatever I feel like. Sometimes I do personal stories, memes, crafts, recipes, etc. I have enjoyed your crafting posts the most, so I hope you continue to share what you are working on. I think it would be fine to keep writing whatever you feel like writing since it is your blog.

  5. This was my first A to Z also. I did notice that a lot of people didn't take the advice of the hosts, quit early or mid way through, and failed to remove those cumbersome and annoying captchas. Aside from all that petty stuff, I have made a lot of new blogger buddies along the way. I have been visiting approximately 41 blogs a day so I am just now getting to yours. I will do it again next year. How about you?

  6. I think once you are free from the Challenge rules of having to blog on a specific letter of the alphabet you will find the freedom to just write about whatever is on your mind on a particular day - and people will enjoy and respond to that, because they are responding to you - your inner joy, your love for people and pets and hobbies, even your pet peeves - and they way you write about them. Like me, they will just pop in to see what you have to say on any given day. You have done an amazing job - so proud of you, have I mentioned that twenty times or more so far?! - my favorites were the stories about the pets. You tell them so beautifully; they come straight from your heart.
